Where the Locals Eat
The best way to visit Osceola like a true Osceolean is to take a few tips from the people who know the area best!
For a small town, Osceola has quite a variety of restaurant choices — from fresh from the oven breakfast pastries to juicy hamburgers —organic gourmet meals or ethnic foods like Mexican and Southern Carribean inspired cuisine.
Start your day with a local favorite- breakfast at the Watershed Cafe- they focus on local food and the back deck puts you right above the rushing sounds of Geiger Falls. Before you head out to the river, grab a quick made to order sub from the Cascade Deli at the BP, or pop into the Deli @ Dick’s Fresh Market. While you stroll around town later in the afternoon, enjoy an old fashioned ice cream at The Looking Glass or a latte @ Caribou Coffee or a pastry at Uptown-Osceola.
In the evening, head to PYs back patio where you can enjoy their famous burgers and fries while you view the illuminated Cascade Falls. Warm up around a fire while you catch a game at The Lanes back patio. Tippy Canoes's is known for a tasty ahi tuna plate and great weekend music. For the adventurous, you can dine in at Mango's for Caribbean style food and pizza too.
